    Install Java Runtime. Ensure you install Java with minimum version of 6. Java is a FREE software available for download at Java Website. If your system is pre-installed from the factory, you may already have java installed. To be sure you have java, open Command Prompt and Type java

    Install an Anti-virus software. Note: Beware, the firewall of some anti-virus may prevent Harmony from accessing the online license server. You have to inform your Technician of this potential problem

    Install a Web Browser

    For Enterprise Users, ask your technician to setup a DBMS for you such as Oracle, MySQL or MS SQL Server. Details on how to setup the database will be provided during activation to your Database technician who will help you set it up.

    Download Store Harmony. Its about 30MB in size and should take about 15 - 40 minutes to download depending on your connection speed. After Downloading the Store Harmony Installer For Windows, the file will come as install-harmony-2.msi. Double Click On This File to install. The installation Wizard will complete all that needs to be done and you will see an icon (named: Start Harmony) on your desktop. Double Click to run Store Harmony

    Store Harmony needs the internet to activate successfully and before you commence this stage, you will need to be sure you are connected to the internet. This is the only time Internet connection is compulsory for Store Harmony to function. Once you conclude your licensing, Internet is no longer compulsory but it is highly recommended you have internet connection at all times.
    To Activate, Get Your 9-Digit Activation Code and then Provide The following information which are required for your Store Harmony Activation:

    Business Name (Trading Name) - This is the name that will be printed on your reports and receipts

    Business Address - A valid address for your sales office

    A Working Mobile Number Owned By The Administrator or Business Owner

    A Working Email Address Owned By The Administrator or Business Owner

    State of Base and Country

    Name of Contact Person

    Administrative Username and Password which must be made only available to the business owner

    When asked, Enter your activation code To Successfully Activate Store Harmony License. If you encounter any problems, be sure your Activation Code is typed correctly, be sure your internet connection is alright. If afterwards you still have problems, feel free to contact your reseller or call DabarObjects Support Centre. Note:As soon as you activate successfully, you may no longer use the activation code for another activation. If you have to migrate to another system in the future or re-install your computer, you must obtain a Welcome Back Activation from your nearest reseller

    For Store Harmony Version 1 Users

    Store Harmony 2 cannot be installed over your existing version of Harmony. This is due to a major underlying function overhaul between the 2 platforms.
